M4 Weapons Testing MW2 DMZ mission guide: Kill one operator with the M4 Platform of weapons
The first part of the MW2 DMZ M4 Weapons Testing mission is, by far, the easiest. To complete this segment of the mission, you must eliminate a single operator with any weapon in the M4 Platform.
The keyword here is operator — kills on AQ Soldiers won't count. Deploy into either Al Mazrah or MW2 DMZ Building 21 and track down an enemy player. Slay the player with an M4, M16, 556 Icarus, FSS Hurricane, or FTAC Recon to satisfy this portion of the Weapons Testing mission.
This aspect of the mission can be made smoother by securing a Hunt Squad contract. The Hunt Squad contract will mark an enemy squad's location on your Tac-Map. With it, you can get the jump on some unsuspecting rival operators and don't need to waste any time searching.
M4 Weapons Testing MW2 DMZ mission guide: Kill ten enemies from a range of over 100 metres with the M4 Platform of weapons
Now, this is the part of the M4 Weapons Testing mission that's giving players trouble. Killing enemies from over 100 metres away is no easy task, especially when forced to use one of the weapons in the M4 Platform.
Before you set out to scout for enemies, we suggest bringing either an FTAC Recon Battle Rifle or the M4 Assault Rifle. These two guns in the M4 Platform are the best in long-range engagements.
Furthermore, if you want to secure kills at a range such as 100 metres, you will need the right attachments. The XTEN Angel-40 Optic is perfect for the job, as it comes with a Target Range Indicator that'll tell you how far away an enemy is.
Alternatively, a 5.0x Optic like the Teplo-OP3 Scope is another excellent option. Combine these Optics with Barrels, Muzzles, and other attachments like a Bipod that will increase your Accuracy, Range, and Control.
When you're ready to start, you'll want to deploy into Al Mazrah, as you'll be hard-pressed to get many long-distance kills in Building 21. Once in the Exclusion Zone, you will need to scour the map for AQ Soldiers.
As soon as you find some enemies, see if you can distance yourself enough to satisfy the M4 Weapons Testing mission requirements. Find a high vantage point and use either a Target Range Indicator or Ping to determine how far away the enemy is.
Finally, once you're ready to pull the trigger, consider swapping your fire mode to Singe Fire. Single Fire will allow you to fire your gun more accurately and pick the AQ Soldiers off from extended range before they begin charging at you.
It might take some time, but if you follow these tips and tricks to a tee, you'll eventually be able to complete the M4 Weapons Testing MW2 DMZ mission.
- Consider using MW2 and Warzone 2 Groups feature to recruit other players to help complete the M4 Weapons Testing mission.
