It should go without saying, but potential spoilers ahead for Pokemon Legends Arceus. We don't have the exact figure for the full length just yet because the game has only just come out, but thanks to leaks and fans getting their copies early, we have some accurate estimates.
According to Pokemon leak account PoryLeeks, players can expect to reach the credits of Pokemon Legends: Arceus in a little over twenty hours of dedicated play. If you are desperate to reach the ending as quickly as possible, expect to put around twenty hours into it.

Pokemon games are rarely ones to burn through, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus should be no different. There are plenty of Pokemon to catch, Pokemon Legends Arceus survey requests to complete, and items to collect and craft. Like all Pokemon games, Pokemon Legends Arceus can really be as long as you want it to be.
For an average playthrough, PoryLeeks expects players to run thirty plus hours on the story. Again, not factoring in the colossal amount of side content Pokemon games come with, this would put Pokemon Legends Arceus easily up with the longest games in the series.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus: 100% Playthrough

The mainline Pokemon games have done a lot to keep expanding the Pokedex and pushing the goalposts further, but Pokemon Legends Arceus does things differently.
Being outside of the main, generation to generation progress of Pokemon, Pokemon Legends Arceus isn't likely to include the nearly 1000 strong National Pokedex that we have reached in Pokemon Sword and Shield. It will get Pokemon Home support post-launch, but most likely Pokemon Legends Arceus will not be able to import Pokemon that are not included in the game.
What this all means is, Pokemon Legends Arceus will have a much more reasonable expectation of what a 100% completion is. Catching all the Pokemon native to the game will likely be your biggest task, by no means a simple one but at least it doesn't involve several other game's worth of trading Pokemon. No doubt there are dozens of potential hours to be spent in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
Although Pokemon Legends Arceus strays from the formula in many ways, it seems to stay true to the open-endedness of the series. If you want to burn through it as quickly as possible, it looks like it will be doable in a couple of days of play.
