Pokemon Legends Arceus strong and agile styles are an all-new feature for the game franchise, and they're a curious one. The brand new catching and battling mechanics are brand new for Pokemon Legends Arceus, and they're giving players entirely new ways to interact with the Pokemon they know and love. But how exactly do these strategies work, and how can you use them? Here's our guide to Pokemon Legends Arceus strong and agile styles.

Pokemon Legends Arceus Strong And Agile Styles: The Battle System

The battling system in Pokemon Legends Arceus is changed up a bit in one other way that has a pretty big impact on how you’ll use the Strong and Agile Styles. Pokemon don’t just attack on one by one -- depending on how quick your Pokemon is, you might attack more than once.

There’s a meter for this. You’ll want to keep an eye on it as you’re battling so you can make sure you’re picking the correct Style for your Pokemon to use. This will also be helpful to remember as you pick what moves to use -- it’ll be easier to set yourself up for powerful combos if you’re attacking twice in a row.

The Strong Style in Pokemon Legends Arceus will let Pokemon hit harder. This will apply to any of the moves you have, amping up the power of the move itself. However, this will also cause the attack speed of the power to lower.

When to use the Strong Style

Using Strong Style is the perfect way to quickly end a battle if you’re confident in the power of your Pokemon. Instead of having to wait around to take an enemy out, all you have to do is use the Strong Style and take your opponent out in one hit.

Of course, you have to know that your Pokemon will actually K.O. the enemy. This might be a bit of a learning curve, as you leave yourself open to other Pokemon’s attacks.

The Agile Style in Pokemon Legends Arceus is the total opposite of the Strong Style. Like the name suggests, your Pokemon’s attack speed will be raised while the power of the move itself will be lowered.

When to use the Agile Style

Since the Agile Style will raise your Pokemon’s attack speed as a whole, it creates a way for you to attack multiple times in a row. This is perfect if you’ve got some attacks to combo one after the other.

It’s also a good way to get an attack on your enemy if they’re close to fainting. This is another way to quickly end a battle if you’re much stronger than your opponent.

That's all we know about the strong and agile styles of battle - get accustomed to the new strategy, get out there and catch some Pokemon!
