How To Evolve Pokemon In Pokemon Legends Arceus
Click to enlargeFirst things first, it's worth noting that Pokemon still have their required level criteria to evolve. You can't grab something like a Bidoof and evolve it right away. You still need to level it up to level 15, but when it hits that level, it won't evolve automatically like in other Pokemon games.
When a Pokemon levels up, if it's reached the requirement to evolve, a pop-up will appear in the top left of your screen saying "Can Evolve", in the same place it says "New Move" or simply "Level Up". From here, press Up to open your satchel, navigate over to the Pokemon you want to evolve on the right-hand side, then press X while hovering over it to begin the evolution process.

Of course, it's worth noting that plenty of Pokemon require some other criteria to evolve, but this is the basic gist of it. Got a Vulpix that needs a Fire Stone or a Pikachu that needs a Thunder Stone? Select the item from your inventory and use it on the Pokemon to evolve it. Other Pokemon have different criteria like time of day, but this is the method for most Pokemon once they hit the necessary level.
