Pokemon Legends Arceus has shaken up the way we play Pokemonwith some huge changes to the formula. One thing that hasn't changed is the fans' desire for catching and evolving Eevees.

Here's everything you need to know about Eevee, where to find them, and how to evolve them.

Where can you find Eevee?

In the Obsidian Fieldlands, pretty much as soon as the game gives you free rein to do what you want, you can find Eevee in the Horseshoe Plains which are just to the east of the Fieldlands Camp.

The location is shown in the map below, but there is a method to get the most out of this Eevee location.

If you head to this spot during the day, chances are you'll see a pair of Bidoof lounging about. To give yourself the best chance of finding an Eevee, you want to catch, defeat or scare off these Bidoof. Getting rid of them forces the game to spawn two new Pokemon here the next time you arrive.

Remove the Bidoof however you will, then return to camp. Sleep until night, then return to the spot. You may find Drifloon here at night, but regardless there will be two Pokemon here again. Neither are Eevee? Get rid of them, rinse, and repeat. Before long an Eevee is bound to appear here for you.

There are two methods to consider when looking to evolve an Eevee in Pokemon Legends Arceus. The method you'll need to use depends on which Eeveelution you are looking for.

For Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Glaceon, and Leafeon, you need their relevant evolution stone:

  • Flareon: Fire Stone
  • Vaporeon: Water Stone
  • Jolteon: Thunder Stone
  • Leafeon: Leaf Stone
  • Glaceon: Ice Stone

These are available from Simona in Jubilife Village. Her stall is located just west of the Galaxy HQ building. She sells a wide variety of evolution materials for 1000 Merit Points each. If you're lacking in points don't worry, many of these items can be found in the world or are rewarded to you for completing requests.

When you have the stone you want and an Eevee in your party, use the item in your pack and select the Eevee to use it with and it will evolve.

For Espeon, Umbreon, or Sylveon, the method is different. For each of these evolutions, you must first max out your Eevee's friendship. This works the same as in previous games, have Eevee in your party and use them in battles to increase your friendship.

In Pokemon Legends Arceus, you can check your friendship level with a Pokemon by speaking to Bellamy near the pastures in Jubilife. Once he tells you that you and Eevee are fast friends, it is ready to evolve!

  • Umbreon: Evolve during the night with no Fairy-type moves
  • Espeon: Evolve during the day with no Fairy-type moves
  • Sylveon: Evolve with a Fairy-type move
