Players embarking on their Honkai Star Rail journey will quickly realise that there is a wide variety of side quests and missions to complete in return for a whole host of rewards. One of these missions “Signs of Fragmentum”, can be a little tricky to complete.

Here, we’ll be showing you how to complete the "Signs of Fragmentum" mission in the game.

  • Wondering where to go for some more quests? Why not take a look at our guide on the planets in Honkai: Star Rail to see where you'll be heading next?

What is the Signs of Fragmentum side quest in Honkai: Star Rail?

The Signs of Fragmentum side quest can be found in the storage area of the Herta Space Station. After speaking with Security Department Member nearby, you’ll discover that they require beacon data due to the high level of Fragmentum corrosion in the area.

The Beacons you're looking for have been transferred onto some adorable little creatures called Wubbaboos. They look like little ghosts floating around the map. To collect the Wubbaboos, the Trailblazer will need to scan them.

After collecting a Wubbaboo, it “thank you with a woo” before disappearing, indicating that you have collected the Beacon and can move on to the next. Aren't they cute?!

Where are the Beacons located in Honkai: Star Rail?

Four Wubbaboos need to be scanned to complete the mission. Thankfully, the map where they can be found is relatively small, so you won’t need to run too far.

They can be collected in any order, but here we’ll follow the optimal route to collecting the Beacons for minimal backtracking:

  • The first Beacon can be located right at the beginning of the mission out in the open. You can’t miss him lurking around the northeast of your starting location.
  • Continuing from the first Beacon, keep heading in the same direction and turn left into the next corridor. But don’t go too far. Instead, turn around and look up. The second Beacon will be floating just above the doorway you entered through.
  • For the third Beacon, continue in the direction you were headed before and turn left at the end of the corridor. When you find yourself in a new room, the Wubbaboo will be hiding behind a box. But be aware, there are two enemies in this room. One on patrol and one close, but facing away from, the Wubbaboo.
  • Finally, the fourth Beacon can be found after leaving this room through the door you entered. On the opposite side of the corridor, you’ll see the Wubbaboo hiding behind a plant, seemingly from the enemy standing nearby. Thankfully, if you’re positioning is right, you should be able to scan it without having to engage the enemy… unless you’re up for the fight that is.

Once all your Beacons have been collected, you can end the mission, or take the time to fight a few enemies on the way back.

That’s it for the Signs of Fragmentum side quest in Honkai: Star Rail But why not check out our guide on Twitch drops, so you can claim even more rewards?
