Mutare Magnus puzzles guide in Honkai: Star Rail
Honkai: Star Rail is filled with puzzles that you’ll need to solve, and can be highly rewarding for doing so. One set of brainteasers in the game is the Mutare Magnus puzzles.

Where to find the Mutare Magnus puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail

The Magnus Mutare puzzles are located in Xianzhou Luofu’s Divination Commission area. To get there, your closest teleport point will be the Conclave Hall Space Anchor.
They are a set of tests that require you to align several jade crystals into the correct locations according to the designs on the ground. Over 3 days, you’ll be given 3 puzzles to complete that will refresh after each day has passed.
To start the puzzles on each day, you’ll need to speak to a young girl called Huixing, who will give you the necessary prompts to begin.

How to solve Day 1 Mutare Magnus puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail
Here is how to solve the first set of Mutare Magnus puzzles for Day 1. Completing these puzzles will reward you with the Thief's Gloves with Prints.
Puzzle 1
- Move the jade in the centre to the space in the top-left
- Move the jade in the bottom-left to the space in the centre-left
Puzzle 2
- Swap the jade in the bottom-left with the jade in the centre-right
- Swap the jade you just picked up with the jade in the top-right
- Swap the jade you just picked up with the jade in the bottom-left
Puzzle 3
- Move the jade in the bottom-left to the space in the top-left
- Move the jade in the centre to the space in the top-right
How to solve Day 2 Mutare Magnus puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail
Here is how to solve the second set of Mutare Magnus puzzles for Day 2. Completing these puzzles will reward you with the Musketeer's Coarse Leather Gloves, Thief's Gloves with Prints and Thief's Meteor Boots.
Puzzle 1
- Swap the jade at the top-right with the jade two spaces to the left
- Move the jade you just picked up to the space in the bottom-left
- Swap the jade at the top-left and with the jade two spaces to the right
- Move the jade you just picked up to the space in the bottom right
Puzzle 2
- Swap the jade in the centre with the jade in the centre-left
- Swap the jade you just picked up with the jade in the top-left
- Move the jade you just picked up to the space in the bottom-left
- Move the jade from the centre-right to the space in the bottom-left
Puzzle 3
- Move the jade just above the centre-left to the space in the bottom-right
- Move the jade just above the centre-right to the space in the bottom-left
- Swap the jade in the centre-left with the jade in the centre-right
How to solve Day 3 Mutare Magnus puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail
Here is how to solve the final set of Mutare Magnus puzzles for Day 3. Completing these puzzles will reward you with the Thieves Gloves with Prints, Thief's Myriad-Faced Mask and Theif's Steel Grappling Hook.
Puzzle 1
- Swap the jade from the top-left with the jade in the centre-left
- Move the jade from between the top and centre-left to the space in the bottom-left
- Move the jade from between the top and centre-right to the space in the bottom-right
Puzzle 2
- Swap the jade from the top-right with the jade in the bottom-left
- Move the jade you just picked up from the bottom left and move it to the space in the centre
- Move the jade from the centre-left to the space in the bottom-right
- Move the jade from the centre-right to the space in the centre-left
Puzzle 3
- Move the jade from the centre into the space in the top-right
- Swap the jade in the centre-right with the jade in the centre-left
- Swap the jade you just picked up from the centre-left with the jade in the bottom-left
- Move the jade you just picked up from the bottom-left into the space in the top left
