All Rise of Midas, Floor is Lava quests & rewards in Fortnite

The latest Fortnite update has introduced two new series of challenges, the Rise of Midas quests and the Midas Presents: Floor is Lava quests.

Not only do these quests offer players an opportunity to earn tons of XP, but there are plenty of Midas-themed items up for grabs, too. With that, let's review all the new challenges and rewards available as part of the game's Rise of Midas update.

Rise of Midas quests & rewards

There are five separate phases of the Rise of Midas quests. A new set of challenges will be released every couple of days or so, and you have until April 2, 2024, at 2pm BST to complete them all!

Midas Rises

  • Stage 1 of 3 - collect bars (200)
  • Stage 2 of 3 - Investigate Midas' Jail Cell (3)
  • Stage 3 of 3 - Corroborate with Marigold on Midas' escape (1)
  • Hit an Olympian Boss with Chains of Hades (1)
  • Damage players with Chains of Hades or a Harbinger SMG (750)

Et Tu, Brutus?

These Quests go live on March 20 at 2pm BST

Jules vs. the Golden Touch

These Quests go live on March 25 at 2pm BST

Myths of Midas

These Quests go live on March 27 at 2pm BST

The Great Marigold Yacht Heist

These Quests go live on March 28 at 2pm BST

You'll get XP for every challenge you complete, and there are Bonus Goals, also:

  • Complete Rise of Midas Quests (6)
    • Reward: Cerberus Medallion Spray
  • Complete Rise of Midas Quests (12)
    • Reward: Rose of Avarice Back Bling
  • Complete Rise of Midas Quests (18)
    • Reward: Queen in Gold Glider

Midas Presents: Floor is Lava quests & rewards

Unrelated to the Rise of Midas quests, the Midas Presents: Floor is Lava LTM has its own set of challenges:

  • Build structures directly over lava (25)
  • Use a Harpoon Gun to pull a player into lava (1)
  • Eliminate players before touching lava (10)
  • Use Crash Pad Jrs. or Balloons (10)
  • Survive Storm Circles (10)

More challenges will go live on March 21 at 2pm BST, and like the Rise of Midas Quests, you'll have until April 2, 2024, at 2pm BST to finish everything and collect all the rewards.

Speaking of rewards, here's all the Midas Presents: Floor is Lava Bonus Goals:

  • Complete Midas Presents: Floor is Lava Quests (3)
    • Reward: Lightning King Spray
  • Complete Midas Presents: Floor is Lava Quests (6)
    • Reward: Zeus Medallion Spray
  • Complete Midas Presents: Floor is Lava Quests (12)
    • Reward: The Gilded Vengeance Pickaxe

That's it for the Rise of Midas and Midas Presents: Floor is Lava quests! Help Midas escape Hades and make his getaway from the Island in Battle Royale mode, or check out Midas' twist on Floor is Lava if that's more to your taste.

Either way, the v29.01 update has introduced plenty to do and lots of in-game items to unlock in Fortnite.
