Chapter 5 Season 2 is well underway in Fortnite, and another week that means there's another set of challenges to take with you as you dive into your next match.

The season kicked off with some week 0 challenges to offer a bit of a head start on the new Battle Pass. After that, new challenges are being added each week right up until the end of the current season.

It's worth noting that in some weeks there will be more challenges than in others - so here's a rundown of everything that's been made available so far.

Week 7 challenges

Collect ammo from Ammo Boxes 400
Visit Landmarks 5
Spend bars at Vending Machines 500
Damage opponents with a Tactical Assault Rifle or a Gatekeeper Shotgun 800
Emote at different Named Locations 3
Find and accept SHADOW Briefings 8

Week 6 challenges

Challenge Number of times 
Destroy Supply Drones at Hot Spots 5
Search an Underworld Chest at Grim Gate and leave without taking damage 1
Damage opponents with a weapon that has modded optics 500
Hit players with Shockwave Grenades 4
Purchase the Patch Up service from Characters or Mending Machines  1
Mod Weapons at Mod Benches  4

Week 5 challenges

Hire a Heavy Specialist and a Supply Specialist 2
Collect Gold bars from Safes or Cash Registers 100
Enter Bunkers in different matches  3
Damage players with the Harbinger SMG  300
Gain Shields within 30 seconds after eliminating an opponent  1
Outlast players while holding an Aspect of the Gods 50

Week 4 challenges 

Challenge  Number of times 
Open chests or ammo boxes within 30 seconds of landing 5
Hit opponents whilst aiming down a Thermal Scope  36
Collect ammo from eliminated players 500
Imbue yourself with the power of the Banana of the Gods in different matches 3
Damage players or bosses that are below 25% health  400
Outlast player after collecting an Epic or better weapon  200

Week 3 challenges

Headshot players with the Hand Cannon 2
Hit different players with Mythic weapons 10
Damage players while inside or briefly exiting a Bubble Shield Jr 150
Eliminate opponents in the Underworld at night or Mount Olympus during the day 10
Collect Olympian powers, Mythic weapons, or Aspects of the Gods in a single match  3

Week 2 challenges 

Challenge  Number of times 
Damage players from below  500
Get headshots with Warforged Assault Rifle 5
Talk to Aphrodite, Artemis, Medusa and Poseidon to receive free items 3
Eliminate enemy players within 10 seconds  3
Travel distance within 30 seconds of landing from the bus  1,000
Collect Epic or better weapons from eliminated players 3

Week 1 challenges

Travel while airborne 2,000m
Damage opponents while at full shield  250
Collect Mythic Items 5
Eliminate players with common weapons  3

Week 0 challenges

Emote in different matches 5
Visit the Underworld and Mount Olympus 2
Mantle in different named locations 5
Headshot opponents with the Huntress DMR 3
Hit players within 5 seconds of falling 10
Eliminate players with the Gatekeeper Shotgun 3
Use a Zipline or Ascender 1
Search chests or ammo boxes 15

All of the weekly challenges for Week 0 are in the table above - each earning you 10,000 XP upon completion in the game.

As expected, a lot of these challenges have been set to encourage trying out the various weapons and map changes laid out in the patch notes - like visiting the iconic Mount Olympus or dealing kills with the Gatekeeper Shotgun.

When are the weekly Fortnite challenges released? 

New weekly challenges are expected to be added to Fortnite every week on Tuesday at 7AM PT | 11AM ET | 3PM BST. You can keep track of them on your 'Quests' screen. 

As soon as new challenges become available, I'll be updating this guide right away.
