Cult Of The Lamb: What Are Crystal Shards?
Click to enlargeCrystal Shards are one of Cult of the Lamb's resources that can be collected while exploring. They are vital to upgrading the Lighthouse back in Pilgrim's Passage, and the Lighthouse keeper will ask for 25 of them quite early in the game. When you are asked to collect them, a quest will begin, but you will need to progress a bit further before you can track them down and finish it off.
Cult Of The Lamb: How To Get Crystal Shards
Click to enlargeTo begin collecting Crystal Shards, you will need to gain access to the third dungeon in the game which is called Anchordeep. The area is pretty notable due to its nautical aesthetic, so there's little chance you will miss it.
While you are in Anchordeep, make your way through the various rooms, and in some of them, you will find purple crystals sticking out of various rocks. Just attack them to break them open, and you will earn up to two Crystal Shards for each one. While the quest for upgrading the Lighthouse requires 25 Crystal Shards, it's unlikely you will get all of them during one run in the dungeon. You may have to return for another trip or two to collect the full amount.
Once you have all the shards, take them to back to Pilgrim's Passage and speak to the Lighthouse keeper to hand them in. This will tick off the quest and upgrade the Lighthouse, giving it a new look, and letting you unlock a new type of follower at your commune.
