Rachel "Valkyrae" Hofstetter fans are worried after the YouTuber admitted that a series of "stressful situations" have caused her to metally check out.

YouTuber Valkyrae is, without a doubt, one of the most recognisable streamers in the community. Having helped pave the way for aspiring female content creators in a male-dominated field, she has proven herself to be a skilled VALORANT player and esports aficionado as co-owner of 100 Thieves

With 3.64 million subscribers on YouTube, Valkyrae has a dedicated and loyal fanbase at hand to shower her with support. So, when Valkyrae announced that she may not seem like herself in the immediate future, her fans were quick to send their love.

Valkyrae Says Series Of "Stressful Situations" Have Taken Toll On Her Mental Health

In a tweet posted on March 22, Valkyrae stated: "Dealing with an extremely stressful irl situation involving family and having a difficult time balancing it with my emotions while being as busy as I have been while still finishing up moving lol." She continued by explaining: "If I seem off it's because I'm mentally checked out for a bit."

Understandably wanting to maintain privacy about the issue, Valkyrae didn't go into any further detail about what the family matter was. However, the tweet follows an eventful week for the streamer, after having moved house with her housemates, including Leslie "Fuslie" Fu and "Sykkuno".

Is Valkyrae Taking A Break From Streaming?

As of writing, it's unclear whether Valkyrae will be taking a break from streaming due to her ongoing situation. The YouTuber did take some time away from the camera before, just before she announced she was staying with YouTube, but admitted the break left her "miserable". Fans also became concerned for Valkyrae when she started to become alarmingly addicted to GTA RP.

Valkyrae's loyal fanbase subsequently came out in force to send love and support to the Among Us fan. As well as sending the best out to her family, many urged her to take as much time as she needs away from her streams: "Take your time Rae, family comes first, there will be always time for streams, don't stress out and don't worry too much about streaming in general..."

Another wholesome Valkyrae fan said: "You are loved! We understand that you are human and need to take a mental health break. Take a vacation. You tell us to make sure we take care of ourselves. We are telling you the same thing! Take a vacation, take care of family & yourself. We will be here watching Vods."
