Having once been the best player in the world for a number of years - and could be argued as the greatest player of all time (versus team Messi) - Cristiano Ronaldo's twilight years have put a slight stain on his legacy.

A failed second stint at Manchester United has now seen CR7 be the flagship face of Al Nassr and the Saudi Pro League. While he's helped sculpt that enriched region by attracting more players, his quality isn't at the standard it used to be.

Now, EA has clocked this. After a fall in stats for this year's version of Ultimate Team, Ronaldo's rating has stunned other footballing legends, as Thierry Henry has been left stunned at how 'bad' his card is.

Thierry Henry stunned at Cristiano Ronaldo's lowest rating in 16 years in EA FC 24

For the first time since FIFA 07, a stunning 17 years ago, Ronaldo has dipped down to an 86 rating. It ends one hell of a chapter in his career and in the Ultimate Team era where his card would often be worth over a million coins at launch.

Instead, he's now on the market for a measly 35,000 coins, with just 77 pace. At the EA FC 24 reveal, Icon Thierry Henry was spotted in disbelief at the card, as he was shown the base stats for an unnamed Saudi player.

Unable to put his finger on exactly who it is, ruling out other players like Benzema, Henry was shown Ronaldo's face, and simply said "Wow."

Thierry Henry can't believe how 'bad' Ronaldo is on EA FC 24

Henry himself is an Icon in EA FC 24, with an impressive 91 rating, valued at just under 2.5 million coins. But with his card being one of the best in the game, Henry's reaction to Ronaldo's clearly showed that he expected the Portuguese strike to still be as equally as good as himself.

"That's not him," he said, in disbelief. "That's bad," he added. It probably won't be too much longer before we start seeing Ronaldo as an icon card, as his career comes to an end, which will mark the end of an era for football.
