Female Twitch streamer "quiteLola" was left visibly shaken after a random stranger approached her while she was recording, and forcibly kissed her.

Here we are in 2022 and female streamers continue to be the target of sexually abusive language and behaviour, which is devastatingly still reported on a day-to-day basis. Some of the most popular women in the industry have spoken openly about their own experiences. For instance, Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa shared some of the abusive insults she regularly receives, as well as Imane "Pokimane" Anys who has had to clap back at a good number of sexist subs in her time.

While the majority of this abuse appears online, there are instances when it can scarily hit closer to home. Sadly, this became the case for quiteLola while she was doing a live stream. As she was recording around the streets of Düsseldorf, a random man approached her and forcibly kissed her, leaving clearly distressed and upset.

What Happened To quietLola?

quietLola was doing a live stream while walking around the streets of Düsseldorf, Germany on January 6. In the clip shared on Reddit, quietLola is shown talking to the camera at her viewers before looking off-screen. Then, a man's voice can be faintly heard asking if he can say hello to her viewers. After saying yes and tilting the camera towards the unknown stranger, he tries to take it off her. She explains that he "can say hello, but I hold it". Leaning in close to her face, the man then suddenly kisses quietLola who, understandably, explodes with anger and pushes him off yelling "f*cking hell, don't touch me you d*ck!"

The man claimed it was "just a joke", but she quickly snapped back saying "it's not a f*cking joke, don't touch me!" As the man appeared to walk away, quietLola turned to the camera and said: "I hate humans so much."

Could quietLola Prosecute The Stranger?

The clip of the assault later appeared on Reddit leaving viewers horrified. Many questioned whether the man could be prosecuted for his actions because "there always needs to be consequences for doing this sh*t". As one fan from Germany claimed: "Kissing someone else without consent is like max 2k to 5k fine for first offence. It is hard to win such a case because one would say he didn't kiss her, and she would say he did so in most cases the courts couldn't do anything. But in this case it's on camera so she would 100% win." Some fans also referenced Sebastian "Quin69" and his highly controversial comments surrounding girls wearing booty shorts and that women wearing less clothing are "asking to be sexually assaulted".

There's no word from quietLola, as yet, as to whether she is going to prosecute the man for forcibly kissing her without consent. Although she was understandably very shaken up by the incident, fans were quick to show their support and encouraged her to seek justice.
