Palworld has made a bit of a name for itself as a cheekier version of Pokemon which pushes boundaries and leans in toward the more twisted and shocking aspects of the world that we try not to think too hard about.

Despite this, the game itself isn’t actually as bad as it makes itself out to be.

One of the pals in-game challenges this however, with a rather raunchy background that definitely shows Palworld isn’t a kid-friendly game.

A rather cheeky Pal description shows Palworld isn’t a game for kids

Palworld is essentially Pokemon’s naughty cousin in the way that it has been marketed and portrayed, and the game really drives this sentiment home through one of the raunchier Pals.

Lovander, the game's version of Salazzle, is a more salacious pal, which seems to be on a mission to get down and dirty with humans.

To make matters worse, it drops 'Suspicious Juice' and 'Strange Juice' on top of the much more normal mushroom and cake items. Definitely nothing untoward there…

The Lovander Paldeck entry states: "Seeking a night of love, it is always chasing someone around. At first it only showed interest in other pals, but in recent years humans have become a target of its debauchery."

Just in case you didn’t quite catch the overt sexual nature of the pal, Lovander is number 69 in the Paldeck, to really hammer home the point.

Nothing actually happens in the game, so there is no need to worry, but the fact it was written into lore certainly makes encountering the pal feel a little bit icky.

Of course, the artwork which has come from Lovander fans has certainly added to the discomfort if you happen to stumble across it on Twitter.

Unfortunately, you might want to use Lovander in your base

While it may not seem like the smartest idea to bring the lust-driven pal willingly into your home, it is probably not a bad idea.

Lovander has Handiwork 2, Mining 1, Medicine Production 2 and Transportation 2 making it a genuinely useful pal to have during the mid-game.

It also has the Heart Drain skill which grants both the player and Lovander life steal and absorbs some received damage and restores HP when fighting together.

If you can get past the discomfort of knowing Lovander may be eyeing you up then it may be a great pal to befriend.

Personally, I will be having nightmares about Lovander chasing me with its creepy running animation for the foreseeable future.
