It takes some pretty big cojones to try and take on the likes of Pokemon, and after a dip in form since release, it looked like Pocket Pair's Palworld had been yet another title to be swallowed by Nintendo (mew)too.

But, Pocket Pair has always promised that it will come back strong and a steady flow of fans will continue coming back, and now this sentiment might be ringing true.

As the badass goth girlfriend raid boss Bellanoir continues to reign, Palworld has gotten a huge update, and with it, players are saying that the game is officially "back".

Over the last few weeks, Palworld has seen a steady decline in players, erecting only at the sight of Bellanoir, where the pesky rule 34 Redditors have begun thirsting. Yep.

But the April 4 Patch Notes has dropped some massive new QoL changes.

New features such as an Ore Mining Site, Chest Filters, and Homeward Thundercloud have arrived specifically to cut out some of the tedious nonsense, freeing up time for you to get down to business, while you can even harness a bit of your inner Tom Nook and become a dictator over your Pals by cutting their break times and throwing them (literally) into work again.

Some other key combat changes like Mercy Hit and Ring of Mercy will also help you keep some morality in the game by not killing everything in your wake, keeping those furries alive and well, just a bit out of breath.

Already, fans have jumped with joy at the patch notes, with so many fan-requested changes that make life so much easier.

"Jesus, they outright listened to the fanbase and even took mod ideas and just outright implemented them themselves. I have a massive amount of trust in these devs," one popular comment read.

Another fan also applauded how Pocket Pair has silenced the doubters, saying, "The fact some people were screaming 'the devs have abandoned this game' is so dumb. Let them cook."

A third fan added, "They really went all out. I got to the part where we can allow/disallow certain tasks and shed a tear. Gaming is so back lol."

Others have already vocally expressed their desire to come back to Palworlds as a result of the patch, tipping their hats to the devs.

It might take some time for Palworlds to even begin contemplating rivalling Pokemon or like-minded titles any time soon, but it's certainly one paw in the right direction for Pocket Pair.
