Ludwig "Ludwig" Ahgren has worked hard to build up his popularity since moving to YouTube. However, did the mind-blowing move from Twitch affect the streamer's finances and how can he afford to pay for his Fortnite Zero Build Tournament?

Ludwig is one of the most instantly recognisable faces across YouTube and Twitch. Having made his name over on Twitch, Ludwig then sent jaws dropping after announcing that he was making the switch over to YouTube, much to everyone's surprise. Since then, there have been some bumps along the way, including a number of embarrassing bans from the Google-owned platform as he tried to navigate his way around YouTube's DMCA rules. However, Ludwig continued to bounce back and firmly established himself in his new home.

But, has the switch affected Ludwig's earnings in any way? How does Ludwig earn his money? What is the streamer's net worth? Well, for any curious Ludwig fans out there, here's everything you need to know.

Ludwig Net Worth

As of 2022, Ludwig's net worth is estimated to be $6.42 million, according to Sportskeeda

However, it's not entirely clear how much this figure has been affected by Ludwig's move to YouTube back in November 2021. Given how it has been less than a year since the change, as of writing, it could be a while before we can estimate Ludwig's net worth on YouTube.

Has Moving To YouTube Affected Ludwig's Earnings?

Ludwig sent shockwaves across the streaming community after announcing the move to YouTube. As part of the contract, Ludwig would only be able to exclusively stream on YouTube, meaning he would have to leave behind his 27,000 subscribers (thanks, The Verge) behind. Although Ludwig never publicly revealed his income, a reported 'leak' showed that he earned over $114k in September 2021, which didn't include his YouTube revenue or donations.

Ludwig has never disclosed how much earns through his exclusive YouTube contract. However, he did already have a head start on the platform having already amassed 2.08 million subscribers who would have helped him earn his cash. Since then, Ludwig's sub count has grown to 2.75 million, as of writing. Not to mention, he has 364k subs over on his second channel Mogul Mail

How Does Ludwig Spend His Money?

Ludwig may not be the highest-earning of streamers. However, he always makes sure that his earnings go back into creating content for his fans. For example, he previously set up his very own Super Smash Bros. Melee Championship Series tournament. Not to mention, in April 2022, he launched a Fortnite: Zero Build tournament for both his fans and fellow content creators.

Ludwig may have had a bumpy road since moving to YouTube. However, with the 26-year-old being crowned Streamer of the Year at The Streamer Awards, it's clear that things are on the up for the YouTuber.
