YouTuber and avid Pokemon card collector Logan Paul is now the co-owner of Liquid Marketplace, where anyone can invest tokens to co-own valuable or collectible pieces.

IMPAULSIVE podcast host Logan Paul is well-known for his love for collecting Pokemon cards and he's not afraid to splash the cash to get his hands on some of the rarest TCGs out there. However, as well as being a YouTuber, Cruiserweight boxer, and Pokemon card collector, Logan Paul is also a savvy businessman.

So, it's no surprise for his latest business venture, Logan sought to combine his career and love for TCGs together by launching a blockchain-based marketplace. Through the new website, traders from all around the world can have a piece of some of the most valuable collectibles.

What Is Logan Paul's Liquid Marketplace?

In a tweet on April 5, Logan introduced his newest business venture, Liquid Marketplace: "A platform where collectors can buy and sell fractions of rare collections via tokens on the Blockchain." The way it works is that Liquid Marketplace will keep and store valuable collectibles in a vault. However, the real owners of the collectibles will be online investors from all around the world who own a portion of the piece which they can then keep, sell on, or trade.

Of course, this isn't the first business venture that Logan has pursued. In January 2022, he teamed up with his rival "KSI" to launch the PRIME sports drink. Not to mention, the 27-year-old has developed an impressive career on YouTube, with 23.4 million subs on the platform, as of writing. His IMPAULSIVE podcast has also proved particularly popular, with interviews from some huge names, including The Terminator himself Arnold Schwarzenegger.

What Are Some Of The Collectible Pieces Available On Liquid Marketplace?

Some of the rare pieces that are already on offer, include a CryptoPunk #6837,
a PSA 8 2009 1/1 Michael Jordan Autopatch, and a PSA 8 Pikachu Illustrator worth $1.1 million. However, it doesn't look like Logan's record-breaking PSA Grade 10 Pikachu Illustrator is on the market. Referring to his infamous Pokémon card scandal, Logan also stated that one of his first-edition Pokémon card boxes is also on offer and joked: "Don't worry! This one is real. I think."

While Logan's fans celebrated the announcement, others were slightly concerned that the venture had a whiff of NFTs about it, especially with the idea of 'tokenising' physical assets. Logan hasn't responded to the concerns as of writing, but he has discussed his valuable NFT collection in the past. However, with the amount of NFT hate within the streaming and video game community, it's likely Logan will have to respond to his fans' queries very soon.
