Logan Paul has officially made it into the Guinness World Records following his incredible performance at WrestleMania. But not because of anything he did in the ring, but instead, because of the incredible sum of money he spent on a super rare Pokemon card.

As well as being a beloved YouTuber content creator and boxer, Logan Paul is well-known for his mind-blowing Pokemon card collection. He's not afraid to spend a whopping amount of money to get his hands on the rarest of TCGs, proudly displaying his latest purchases on numerous occasions. Although, he's previously admitted that his collection has gotten 'out of hand' and had to deal with the drama of being caught up in the fake Pokemon card scandal

However, that didn't deter Logan from indulging in his wholesome hobby and the 27-year-old splashed out on yet another super rare Pokemon card. Then, the Cruiserweight boxer just so happened to best a Guinness World Record from the mind-blowing purchase.

What Is Logan Paul's Record-Breaking Pokemon Card?

The Pokemon card which bagged Logan Paul a spot in the Guinness World Records was a super rare PSA Grade 10 Pikachu Illustrator which he bought back in July 2021 for $5,275,000. In doing so, he claimed the record for the "most expensive Pokémon trading card sold at a private sale," according to the Guinness World Records website.

As to how Logan got his hands on the rare Pikachu, the website claimed: "Paul exchanged a PSA Grade 9 Pikachu Illustrator card worth $1,275,000 that he had purchased from renowned sports card collector Matt Allen in Como, Italy." Logan then took to Twitter to explain how he had to find the card's previous collector down and 'insist' he sell it to him. The 'Maverick' then travelled over to Dubai to secure the deal.

$5.2 million seems like an eye-watering amount of money to spend on a TCG card. However, Logan justified the purchase saying, "the Pikachu Illustrator is the rarest Pokémon card in the world. Only 39 of them exist, and this is the only PSA 10 (perfect condition). Until this weekend, there were no pictures or videos of this card anywhere."

Logan Paul Debuts Super Rare Pokemon Card During WrestleMania

Logan chose to show off his Pikachu purchase in spectacular fashion during WWE's WrestleMania 38 where he teamed up with The Miz for a tag team match against Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The card seemed to work its magic for the YouTuber, as Logan went on to wow us all with some jaw-dropping moves during the match, including a frog splash, three amigos, and a neck breaker.

There may have been no sign on Logan's lucky Charizard card during his appearance at WrestleMania. Although, given how he has made it very clear that the much-loved dragon-like monster is his favourite Pokemon, it hopefully won't be long until we see it again. Logan Paul fans hoping to get some more details as to how the sale came about, make sure to keep your eyes peeled as he promised that a YouTube video is "coming later this month."
