The wait for football action is coming to an agonising close, as the European Championships and COPA America's conclusion has left the world pining for the annual club seasons to start up again.
Even the games are leaving players desperate for some more action, as FC 24 has all but finished given that Ultimate Team is now in its FUTTIES era, depicting the end of the road.
But just as new football seasons beckon, so do new football games with UFL and FC 25 on the cards, and the latter could cost players a fortune if they want to get some early access.
FC 25 Closed Beta codes are worth a small fortune
EA's football games are often criticised for "being more of the same," but that hasn't stopped players from clamouring to get their boots on the pitch early - and at an expense.
The FC 25 Closed Beta is live, giving players a chance to experience Kick Off and Ultimate Team before the real game comes out next month.
But, the Closed Beta was invite-only and EA has already given out its codes, meaning there are a lot of players who won't have the chance to see what all the hype is about.
Now, FC 25 fans are actually buying codes at £50 fees, despite it being free-to-play for code owners.
Listings on eBay are showing FC 25 Beta Codes being sold for anywhere between £10 and £50. The free-to-play Beta is even outpricing the full game of FC 24, which is being sold for £25 as of yesterday.
Most codes are selling for around £25, so you could make a quick buckif you do have a Beta code but don't intend on redeeming it. The FC 25 Closed Beta will be running until August 27, with a Career Mode build coming soon.
