Squad Battles have been pushed into the faces of fans this year as EA FC 24 Ultimate Team is offering up meta players in the Objectives section of the game mode, where the best route to completion is through the single-player grind.

But if you wanted to make completing these Objectives even easier, wouldn't it be fun if you removed the goalkeeper from the opposition team? And wouldn't it be even better if you took away another six players?

Well, that's exactly what has happened, as a bizarre glitch is turning Squad Battles into a 3v3 game mode.

EA FC 24 Ultimate Team glitch turns Squad Battles into VOLTA

While Squad Battles was pushed in, VOLTA was squeezed out, as the trialled game mode ended up being slipped into a Kick-Off variant rather than the fully-fledged FIFA Street rip-off.

But if you do play the Kick-Off VOLTA mode for a few laughs, and then head straight to Squad Battles in Ultimate Team, the game mode will also have a 3v3 selection.

Unfortunately, this glitch doesn't allow you to get through those pesky "min. 5 players" objectives, but you can easily rain goals in when there are only two more opponents, even on Legendary difficulties.

EA FC 24 players are hacking Squad Battles with the latest glitch

Invisible players have been found in EA FC 24 game modes, but this glitch doesn't just make players opaque, it fully removes them, leaving your Squad Battles games significantly easier.

One fan has quickly come together with the best plan to win in this Volta Glitch too.

"If you’re gonna do it I recommend putting 3 outfield players at right back, right centre back, and goalkeeper," said one fan, as they have figured out which default players are placed in a Volta match.

The fan also suggested using three players with the Relentless playstyle, such as Jude Bellingham, Nico Barella, and Aitana Bonmati, for that box-to-box action.

Squad Battles rewards might never have been easier to grab.
