After launching his own AAA Game Studio, boasting former Call of Duty and Halo developers, the infamous Herschel "Dr DisRespect" Beahm IV has claimed that Halo Infinite needs a battle royale game mode to prevent the title falling off - and that his team could build one.

The long-awaited futuristic shooter has taken the FPS genre by storm amid the launches of competitors like Call of Duty: Vanguard and Battlefield 2042, often being praised for its gripping gameplay and exhilarating esports-ready division, including a progressive ranked system and ready-made map designs.

However, Dr DisRespect has now claimed that in order to stay ahead of the game, 343 Industries "must" roll out a Halo battle royale in early 2022.

Dr DisRespect Claims Halo Needs a Battle Royale To Survive

Discussing the title alongside his fellow YouTube Gaming streamer Tim "TimTheTatman" Betar, the two-time implored that Halo needs a battle royale mode to avoid suffering the same fate as Battlefield.

"The people saying Halo doesn’t need a battle royale said Battlefield didn’t need one. Now, look at where that game is. You have to have one," he began.

"It’s crazy to think about how good the game could be. Massive potential. I really think it must have one. That is where the game needs to start heading, soon."

Dr DisRespect Says He'll Put His Career On Hold To Design A Halo BR

With the developers' silence on the battle royale front continuing to haunt the expecting fan base, Doc has now claimed that his studio will even develop the map, centralised around the large-scale game mode that already exists within the game.

"I’d love to design that. I could put my multi-million dollar streaming career on hold. I’m willing to do it, 343, ask for my resume," said Dr DisRespect.

He continued to say, "Think about all the Halo maps, how they could fit together into one battlefield. Big Team Battle maps would just be the Superstore area of a battle royale map in the game.

"Lord. Think about the space that you’d be jumping into, you’ll fight in. You could fly through it. Halo has always had a nice big ring. Start the game in a spacecraft, land on the ring. Close in that circle on either end. It’s all right there."

Dr DisRespect has already notched up quite an impressive C.V. for his map design, boasting a range of Call of Duty maps over the years including a large proportion of those on Advanced Warfare, and even created his own arena on Rogue Company, based upon his compound. Whether 343 would be interested in his layout for a Halo Infinite battle royale is yet to be seen though.
