Kakariko Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be found at the following map coordinates: 1826, -0974, 0113.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sets Link back in the Kingdom of Hyrule he once explored during the events of the previous game, Breath of the Wild, but due to the mysterious goings-on around Hyrule Castle, things aren’t quite as they should be.

Because of this, Kakariko Village is located in the West Necluda region of Hyrule. The direction you should be roughly headed towards is the giant ring-shaped stone that has fallen from above and crashed into a mountain on the way.

There are several ways to get to Kakariko Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Here, we’ll be going over two of the most accessible to get there as quickly (and smoothly) as possible.

The first route you can take is by walking and following the path leading from the central location of Lookout Landing. Going through the mountain pass, as in Breath of the Wild, is perhaps the most direct route assuming you don’t get distracted by Shrines along the way.

However, a far more inventive way to travel is by using your Paraglider, and some elevation from the nearby Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower.

Letting the Skyview Tower launch you into the air will let you dive down and glide right into the center of the village, bypassing the path and letting you see the sights along the way.

What to do in Kakariko Village in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Now that you’ve made it to Kakariko Village, you’re probably wondering what you can do there. Well, in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, getting to Kakariko Village will get you access to several side quests, including Gloom-Borne Illness and Messages from an Ancient Era.

Additionally, there is access to a Goddess Statue there, so you can freely upgrade your heart and stamina gauges, as long as you have the correct amount of Lights of Blessing.

While there is a Shrine there, don’t expect to find a Great Fairy Fountain this time. While there may have been one in Breath of the Wild, it has since been replaced with an eerie Chasm to The Depths.

That’s everything you need to know about finding out where to find Kakariko Village and the best ways to get there in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Looking for locations? Why not check out our guide on where to find all the Great Sky Island Shrines?
