Figuring out where to find the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is no easy task, as it's one of the more challenging towers to locate and unlock in the game

By unlocking the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, you'll uncover the southwest section of the map. This region isn't quite the Gerudo Desert, but instead the mountain range just north of Gerudo Town.

So, here's what you need to know to find and activate the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower is one of two Skyview Towers in the Gerudo region (the other being the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower) and can be found in the mountains north of Gerudo Town. From the town, head north and get ready to climb. The coordinates for this Tower's exact location are -3947, -1272, 0424

Flying vehicles like rockets and balloons are extremely useful here, as you will be doing little more than climbing otherwise. Also of note are the cold conditions once you reach a certain altitude. To combat these, make sure you have cold-resistant clothes, food, or fire weapons.

Once you reach the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, you will find the tower's entrance is inaccessible, making this one of the more challenging towers you will have to deal with. In a tent nearby, you'll find a note mentioning a cave, and it's through this cave that you can access the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, as long as you follow the steps below:

  • Find Meadela's Mantle Cave behind the tower. Inside, you will find a pile of building materials next to a river.
  • You need to make your way down the river, so grab a wooden plank to use as a raft and put it in the water.
  • Jump on and let the current take you downstream. This will take you over a waterfall (you might want to jump off at this point to be safe).
  • Across this room, you'll see several wooden beams propping up a wooden section of the ceiling.
  • This is the foundation of the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, so use your raft to get underneath it and then use Ascend to go up.
  • Once you emerge into the tower, you can activate it and complete another piece of the map.
