You might be confused by the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower and how to open it, as once you arrive, you'll find a character called Bilson wondering how to get inside and repair it.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sees the return of towers that allow you to uncover the fog of the map to get a better view of Hyrule as a whole. However, thanks to your new abilities, the game makes you work a bit more to activate them, with Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower specifically puzzling players.

So, if you need a breakdown of where to find and how to activate the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, read on.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower location

The Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower is just east of Hyrule Field. It is directly east of the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower, and overlooks much of the field. The tower is just to the west of Kakariko Village, making it a prime location to explore early on.

It can be a bit difficult to get to if you are coming from the south (speaking from personal experience), so your best bet is to take the road west from Kakariko Village, then make your way south up the hills when you are near the tower, where you should notice Bilson at the front.

When you reach the Tears of the Kingdom Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, you will find a Rito named Bilson standing at the entrance. They will tell you that the door is stuck and that there is a cave beneath the tower where they used to go to find mushrooms.

Here's how to get inside Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, so you can activate it:

  • Drop down from the cliff to the northwest of the tower to find the cave entrance.
  • To get inside the cave, you will need to spend time hacking away and breaking the rocks (we recommend fusing a stone to your weapons for this).
  • As you're breaking the rocks, aim toward the south, as this is the chamber of the cave you will need to reach.

  • You should eventually see a Bubbul Frog inside, which means you've found the right place
  • Now use Ascend to go into the cave ceiling, and you'll appear inside the Skyview Tower.
  • Just remove the sticks next to the door and Bilson can get inside to repair the console.

That's all for our explainer of where to find and how to activate the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower.

We also cover all Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom legacy armour map locations.
