Looking to use the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower to unlock a chunk of the map? Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom takes after the previous game by having players seek out towers to unlock the map. The Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower reveals a big part of the southwest of the game's map. Here is what you need to know to find and activate the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Zelda TOTK Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower: Where to find it

The Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower is one of two Skyview Towers in the Gerudo region (the other being the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower) and can be found on the southern edge of Gerudo Canyon. From the Great Plateau, head west and take the road into the canyon.

When the road splits, take the road to your left and up onto the ridge. Follow the road until you reach a bridge, then go left up the hills. You should spot the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower just ahead, so climb up to it.

When you reach the tower, you will find it is out of commission. The power isn't working, and there isn't someone here to fix it. Like many of the other Skyview Towers, there is an engineer on the way, but they are stuck.

Directly opposite the door to the tower, you will see a broken elevator. The engineer, Sawson, is at the bottom with no way up. There are some building materials nearby, including a large metal box.

Use Ultrahand to pick up the box and attach it as a counterweight on the elevator. This will bring Sawson up to you. Speak with him and he will fix the tower terminal, so you can fill out another chunk of your map.

That is it for our Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower guide. For more on the game, check out our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower guide.
