Sons of the Forest item IDs

Whilst part of the fun of playing Sons of the Forest is the gruelling challenge to collect items for survival, some players prefer to have a little help. With Sons of the Forest item IDs, it is possible to cheat any item from the game into your inventory. If this is something you want to try, stick around and we'll give you a full list of all item IDs and a step-by-step of how to implement them.

Using cheats like this involves dipping into the save code of the game. This means you run the risk of corrupting a save file if you choose to continue. Make sure you back up any saves before meddling with item IDs.
To add an item to your Sons of the Forest inventory, complete the following steps:
- Go to C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\LocalLow\Endnight\SonsOfTheForest\Saves
- This will take you to a folder named 17 numbers, click this.
- If you struggle to find the correct folder, type 'Endnight' into your search bar in your PC files.
- Now, select either Multiplayer or Single Player, this will lead to a group of folders representing your save files.
- Check the date and time of the folders so you select the one you need.
- Copy the save file and paste it into another location to back it up.
- Enter the folder and open the PlayerInventorySaveData file using Notepad, this will bring up the code for the save file.
- You'll see lines like this: {\"ItemId\":XXX,\"TotalCount\":X,\"UniqueItems\":[]},
- The XXX is the three-digit item ID code and the singular X represents the amount of that item you have in your inventory.
- Simply, add the above line to the existing code – remember to put a comma in between the lines before you add a new one.
- Then replace the XXX with an item ID code of the item you wish to spawn and replace the X with the amount of that item you wish to have.
- Below we have a list of all item ID codes you can use in this format.
