All Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenary Mode unlockable characters and abilities

As of writing, the main unlocks are characters, which you can only get if you complete the previously unlocked character at a Rank A (100,000 points or over). The characters available in the game are:
| Unlockable Characters | How to unlock | Character Attacks and Weapons. | Mayhem Mode Abilities |
| Leon | Starting character | Suplex and Kick melee attacks. Uses SG-09 R, Stingray or Riot Gun.
 | Has increased power and speed. |
| Luis | Get rank A or higher in any stage as Leon | Luis has a pipe attack, a yellow pipe he can swing at enemies. He uses either the Red9 or SR M1903. | Has Timed Dynamite. |
| Krauser | Get rank A or higher in any stage as Luis | Has a thrust attack and uses either the EJF-338 Compound Bow or TMP. | Can transform into his monster shape. |
| Hunk | Get rank A or higher in any stage as Krauser | He has the Neckbreaker attack which snaps enemy's necks when staggered. He uses the LE 5. | Hunk has infinite ammo. |
As of writing, it is just the four above characters available in Mercenaries Mode. However, as the original Resident Evil 4 Mercenaries Mode also included Ada Wong and Albert Wesker, we may see them added at a later date.
All Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenary Mode rewards

There are no new achievements or trophies to come with the Mercenaries Mode DLC. However, there is a reward that can pack a punch in a Resident Evil 4 Remake playthrough.
While more rewards may be added with time, the main Mercenaries Mode reward now is the Handcannon Magnum. A gun capable of some serious firepower as with most Magnums, however, this one can be fully upgraded to give it the infinite ammo perk. This is particularly useful in a Resident Evil 4 Remake playthrough where Magnum ammo is scarce, and gunpowder is a precious resource.
To get the Handcannon Magnum, you must either achieve an S Rank or higher in Mercenaries Mode across all three stages or with all unlockable characters.
