How to find all entrances to the hive in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Right after the mining cart sequence in Resident Evil 4 Remake, when you enter the Hive located right below the castle's Ballroom, you will find a Blue Request Note that assigns you with a side quest called Insect Hive, tasking you to destroy all entrances to the hive in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Similar to most of the side quests in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you don't get the location of the hive entrances. Since the game doesn't even hint at how these hive entrances look, finding and destroying them is daunting - so here are the locations of all of them.

How many hives are there in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

In total, you must find and destroy four hive entrances to complete the side quest Insect Hive, which you can turn in at the Merchant found in the latter parts of the Hive.

Once you destroy these hive entrances and turn in the quest, you will get four Spinel as a reward. You can use it to get a variety of unique items by using the Trade menu that appears whenever you interact with the Merchant.

Hive location entrances in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Hive entrance location 1

You will find the first hive entrance where you picked up the request note. Go towards the left, near the edge, and look up. You will find the yellow glowing hive entrance.

Shoot it with your handgun to destroy it and progress the quest. Depending on the gun, it takes one to three bullets to destroy the hive entrance.

You will find the second hive entrance right after you make your way out of the short tunnel leading to the southeast parts of the Hive.

Like before, make your way to the player icon location and look up towards the hive. You will find the second hive entrance.

The third hive entrance is located in the south part of the Hive. Stick to the cliffside and aim towards the hive, and you will spot it.

Look for the bioluminescent part and shoot it down to destroy the third hive entrance.

The fourth hive entrance is found right next to the third one. Stand near the player icon location as shown in the below map screenshot and look above towards the hive; you will spot it.
