Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC has finally dropped, and with it comes a whole host of starters like Rowlet who are ready to join you on this new Paldean journey!

Rowlet is the lovable Grass/Flying-type starter Pokemon from Generation 7. Round, feathered, and full of love, this bird would make an excellent addition to your team.

But you might not have seen it wandering around the Blueberry Academy’s Terarium yet. Here’s everything you need to know about how to find and catch Rowlet in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk expansion.

Where to find Rowlet in The Indigo Disk

Those who have played Pokemon Legends: Arceus have probably already got owls out the wazoo, with Rowlet available as a starter. But if you want to catch your own Rowlet to use in The Indigo Disk, you’ll need to complete some tasks before it will start appearing in the Savanna Biome.

First of all, you’ll need to grind up 3,000 BP (Blueberry Points) to convince the Terarium Club to boost the Savanna biome. Head on over to the League Club Room and interact with the PC in the top-left of the room. Once you’ve handed over all your hard-earned BP, you’ll begin to notice starter Pokemon appearing in the wild, including Charmander, Totodile, Snivy, Fennekin, Sobble and our main man, Rowlet.

Travel to the Savanna Biome and start your hunt for Rowlet. You can find it all across the Biome, so it shouldn’t be too long until you have this cutie for your very own!

How to evolve Rowlet

Rowlet evolves into Dartrix at Level 17, which evolves into Decidueye at Level 34. An easy and quick way of levelling up is to use XP and Rare Candies.

Are you planning to add Rowlet to your team in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet? Or are you on Team Chikorita or Team Bulbasaur? No matter which starter you’re hunting for, we’ve got the guide for you at GGRecon.
