Getting to add Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Vensaur to your Pokedex is one of the most exciting things about Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC; however, you'll need the details on their locations and how to evolve them in this guide first.

Whether you're a Gen 1 veteran or Pocket Monsters newcomer who wants the original Grass-type starter, the Seed Pokemon will be an adorable addition to your collection nevertheless. So, let's get into Bulbasaur's Indigo Disk location.

How to get Bulbasaur in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Bulbasaur can be found in the bottom left of the Coastal Biome in the Indigo Disk DLC, but you'll first need to spend 3000 BP to complete the Coastal Biome's corresponding Teraium Club support board quest that will "boost biodiversity" in the biome.

Completing this quest essentially increases the range of Pokemon that can be encountered in the area, with other starters included like Popplio and Froakie

How to get more BP

If you're low on BP in The Indigo Disk, you can get more by completing Battle Quests - which you can access by pressing right on the D-pad. Be warned though, gathering the 3000 BP required can take a while, so get ready for grinding.

After you've donated the necessary BP, Bulbasaur will soon appear in the grassy areas shown in the image above. I found them to be quite common spawns once they were added to the game, so you be able to find one in no time.

How to evolve Bulbasaur into Ivysaur

Bulbasaur evolves into Ivysaur once it's levelled up to Level 16, so you won't need to grind for experience points for long.

If your Bulbasaur is already at Level 16 or above, you can simply level it up once more to trigger the evolution. To make the process even speedier, you can even use a Rare Candy or Exp. Candies to get it levelled up right away.

How to evolve Ivysaur into Venasaur

In order to have your Ivysaur evolve into Venasaur, it just needs to reach Level 36. From then, the evolution will trigger automatically with no need for evolution items or other special methods.

Just like before, an Ivysaur already over the required level can still evolve once it's levelled up once again.

That's everything you need to know about Bulbasaiur in The Indigo Disk.
