Fitting to the holiday, the Halloween Mass Outbreak features the following Ghost-type Pokemon:

  • Drifloon
  • Greavard
  • Mimikyu
  • Phantump

During the event, these Pokemon will appear in Mass Outbreaks across Paldea and Kitakami. These Pokemon can appear at any time of day, night owls like Phantump and Driftloon, too!

Even more exciting, this is the first time Trainers will be able to encounter Phantump outside of Kitakami. So, if you have yet to purchase The Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, now is your chance to add Phantump and Trevenant to your Pokedex!

If these featured Pokemon are of no interest to you, there's still plenty of reason to partake in the Halloween Mass Outbreak! Considering how common these Ghost-type Pokemon will be during the event, the Halloween Mass Outbreak is perfect for hunting Shiny variants of Drifloon, Greavard, Mimikyu, and Phantump. Equip a Shiny Charm and chomp on some sandwiches with Sparkling Power to increase your chances of encountering a Shiny.

It's also worth noting that Ghost-type Pokemon you encounter during the Halloween Mass Outbreak are more likely than usual to feature a mark, specifically the Crafty Mark. Pokemon equipped with this rare mark will display the Opportunist title in battles.

Celebrate the spooky season in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with the Halloween Mass Outbreak!
