Despite their godlike status in Kitakami, you can catch Loyal Three in the Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. However, the Loyal Three are powerful Pokemon, and you'll only get one shot to capture each member of the Legendary trio in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, so you don't want to mess it up. This primer will overview how to catch each member of the Loyal Three in the latest Pokemon role-playing games from Game Freak.

How to catch the Loyal Three in the Teal Mask DLC

Before you set out to catch the Loyal Three in the Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you must start and finish the entirety of the Teal Mask storyline. Once you've done that, you can visit each of these brand-new Pokemon and attempt to capture them with Poke Balls.

To catch the Loyal Three, you will need an adequate number of Poke Balls. Stock up on Ultra Balls to increase your chances of successfully capturing these elusive Pokemon.

You should also bring Recovery Items with you when you challenge the Loyal Three, especially Antidotes. The Loyal Three all possess the Toxic Chain Ability, which can badly poison your Pokemon.

Most importantly, turn off auto-saving and save your game before you approach a member of the Loyal Three. You only get one opportunity to capture these special Pokemon, so it's critical to save the game so you can reset if you knock one of them out accidentally.

How to catch Fezandipiti

After your first encounter with Fezandipiti, where it runs away from you at Fellhorn Gorge on Oni Mountain, you will find the Retainer Pokemon perched outside a nearby cave on the edge of a rock ledge.

As a Poison/Fairy-type Pokemon, Fezandipiti is weak to Ground, Psychic, and Steel-type Pokemon. Fezandipiti also typically appears as a Level 70 Pokemon. Use this information to build a party that can effectively survive Fezandipiti's onslaught of attacks and hurt it without dealing a finishing blow.

Once Fezandipiti barely has any HP left, toss Poke Balls at it until you capture it!

How to catch Okidogi

Okidogi hangs out in the north-west corner of Kitakami in an area called the Paradise Barrens.

Okidogi is a Poison/Fighting-type Pokemon, and with that, is most vulnerable to Psychic, Flying, and Ground-type Pokemon. Avoid using Psychic attacks against Okidogi, though, as you could easily KO it with a single hit. Like the other two members of the Loyal Three, Okidogi is usually Level 70.

Attack Okidogi until you have it on the verge of passing out, then spam Poke Balls at Okidogi until the Pokemon finally relents and lets you capture it. If you end up knocking Okidogi out inadvertently, simply load a previous save and try again.

How to catch Munkidori

The final member of the Loyal Three, Munkidori, is situated on the south-west corner of Kitakami at Wisteria Pond.

Munkidori is a Poison/Psychic-type Pokemon and struggles against Ground, Ghost, and Dark-type attacks. Battle Munikdori with Pokemon around Level 70 to increase your chances of surviving while also lowering the odds you KO it accidentally.

Catching Munkidori in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC isn't any different from catching the rest of the Loyal Three. Lower Munkidori's HP until there's barely any left, and then toss Poke Balls as long as it takes to capture it.

The Loyal Three are a central part of the Teal Mask DLC, so it's understandable that Trainers want to add this Legendary trio to their Pokedex. Travel to their resting spots, battle them until they are weak, and then relentlessly throw Poke Balls at the Loyal Three to catch the Heroes of Kitakami.
