How to redeem the latest Pokemon GO 'Amazon Prime Gaming' rewards
If your inventory is running low in Pokemon GO, these Amazon Prime Gaming rewards will give you a little boost with free items like Incense, Lucky Eggs, or even avatar outfits.
Although Pokemon GO is a free-to-play game, it's all too easy to run out of important items like Poke Balls and Potions. If you don't want to pay for more items, your next best option is to hunt for any free rewards.
The good news is that Niantic has teamed up with Amazon Prime Gaming to offer Trainers a small selection of free items that can be claimed each month, so here's what's on offer and details on how to redeem them.
How to claim rewards
To claim Prime Gaming rewards for Pokemon GO (or any other game, for that matter) you'll need to have an active Amazon Prime subscription.
As long as you've got this, it's simply a case of heading to the official Pokemon GO Prime Gaming rewards page and following these steps:
- Make sure you're logged in to your Amazon account
- Click the 'Claim' button under the latest rewards box
- After hitting 'Get in-game content' you'll be provided with a unique code to redeem
- Go to the official Pokemon GO code redemption page
- Log in with the same account you use for Pokemon GO and enter your unique code
That's all you need to do to claim Amazon Prime Gaming rewards! When you next log in to Pokemon GO on your mobile phone, the reward items should automatically appear in your inventory.
All current Pokemon GO Prime Gaming rewards
The free Amazon Prime Gaming rewards you can claim in Pokemon GO right now are 1 Lucky Egg and 8 Super Potions.
The Lucky Egg is a very nice reward, doubling the XP you earn for 30 minutes - although if you have an Origin Forme Dialga that knows Roar of Time, you can extend this duration. I'd recommend saving your Lucky Egg for a special event like a Community Day or waiting for a Spotlight Hour that has a double XP bonus.
You've only got until May 10, 2024, to claim this reward, at which point a new set of rewards will replace it.
