You might come across the Tourney Champion side quest in Octopath Traveler 2 in your travels, and as always it can be quite challenging to figure out what you need to do. How to complete Tourney Champion side quest in Octopath Traveler 2
Click to enlargeYou will pick up the Tourney Champion side quest in Octopath Traveler 2 by speaking to the Worried Woman to the right of the entrance stairs in Montwise. She will ask you to stop her friend from entering the arena, as she is worried that he will be hurt.
Heading down to the arena in Montwise, you should be able to talk to an NPC named 'Fainthearted Youth'. If you use any information-based Path Actions, you will be able to see that he is in love with his childhood friend - who we can only presume is the Worried Woman.
What you'll need to do is use an incapacitate Path Action like Soothe, Ambush, Challenge, or Provoke to knock the Fainthearted Youth unconscious. Then, the character whose Path Action you used will be asked to take his place in the arena.
You will then have to fight Yurinas one on one, which can be a really challenging fight. You thankfully don't need to win it though, and can return to claim the victory reward of a Champion's Belt at any point later on in the game.

After the fight has finished Yurinas will remove her helmet, revealing herself as the Worried Woman from earlier and after a short bit of dialogue the quest will be complete.
You will get 2,000 Silver Leaves and one Reinforcing Jam as a reward for completing the quest, which will come very much in handy in tough fights where you need quick replenishment.

How to recruit Yurinas in Octopath Traveler 2
Click to enlargeAfter the quest has been completed, you will actually be able to recruit Yurinas to your party. She can be found on the left hand side of the upper arena at both day and night, so the full selection of recruit Path Actions will be available to you.
It is quite challenging to bring her in though due to her strength, so you will either have to be a high level as Agnea to Allure her, or exchange 30,720 Silver Leaves or one Perfect Jerky as Partitio and Ochette respectively.

You can also challenge her as Hikari to claim her Windswept Slash ability, which is very useful in adding another high damage attack to his arsenal that also covers an additional weak point too.
