How to complete the Vintage Collection mission in MW2 DMZ
Struggling to beat the MW2 DMZ Vintage Collection mission? Check out this guide to find out exactly what you need to do.
Quite a few players are struggling to figure out the Vintage Collection mission, as it is a bit vague as usual with what you actually need to do. The extraction shooter genre has an affection for being rather obtuse and MW2 DMZ is no different with its often ambiguous quests.
Check out the guide below for all of the details of the Vintage Collection missionas we've thankfully got you covered.
How do you complete the Vintage Collection mission?
The Vintage Collection mission is a Tier 1 quest from the Black Mous faction, rewarding you with a Stronghold Keycard and 5,000 XP. Despite being one of the earliest missions that you will come across, it is actually a bit tricky, considering the lack of specificity in the tasks.
The two tasks that you will need to complete for the Vintage Collection mission are:
- Loot 12 Liquor or Wine Bottles
- Sell 12 Liquor or Wine Bottles at a Shop
As you can see, while fairly straightforward these tasks don't give you much information beyond what you simply need to do, but we've got all of the details you need below so don't worry.
Where to find liquor or wine bottles
The primary loot container for Liquor or Wine Bottles in MW2 DMZ are Fridges, which are dotted all over the Al Mazrah map. In particular, you will find these within restaurants and bars, but they can be dotted within general housing.
Al Mazrah City is a great area to start if you want the largest catchment area, as there are loads of bars and restaurants in quite close proximity to each other. However, there is a large building to the south west of Sarrif Bay that appears to be a particularly strong loot spot for these items.
You should be able to get at least five or six per run, and this task can be completed over as many deployments as it takes you, so you don't need to worry about getting all 12 in the one raid.
Where are the shops in MW2 DMZ?
You will need to sell all of the Liquor or Wine Bottles that you've looted at a Shop though, but this is perhaps the easiest part of the whole process. Just head to the nearest MW2 DMZ Buy Station and use the sell function to complete the quest.
There you have it, that's all you need to do to complete the MW2 DMZ Vintage Collection mission. Make sure to check out these key locations though if you have one that you want to use.
