If you're a Call of Duty veteran, you might be looking for how to access the Barracks in Modern Warfare 2. Barracks are a staple feature in a Call of Duty title, so it's natural that players may be looking for how to access the menu in Modern Warfare 2. Keep reading to find out everything you need to know about Barracks in MW2.

MW2: What Are Barracks?

In Call of Duty titles, Barracks are where you can find everything you need to know about your Call of Duty career profile. The menu system would include options to customise your emblem, calling card and clan tag. In Warzone, it's also where you can customise your emotes and weapon spray wheel.

In addition, the Barracks usually contain your full career statistics, including your KD ratio, the total amount of kills, deaths, and time played. Achievements and accomplishments are also usually listed in the Barracks. So, how can you access the Barracks in Modern Warfare 2?

Strangely, the Barracks menu is not included in Modern Warfare 2. In a step away from the norm in the series, Infinity Ward has separated out some of the Barracks functionality into other areas of the Call of Duty menu systems. For example, profile customisation can be found in the launcher menu in the top right corner of your screen. This is now where you can change your emblem, calling card, and clan tag.

At the moment, there is currently no way for players to access their career statistics. This means you can't see your overall KD, or total kills, deaths, or game time. Infinity Ward has promised that some of these features will eventually arrive in Modern Warfare 2 in future updates. However, there is currently no timeline for this. We will update this article if those features do arise. For now, it looks like Barracks might be a thing of the past for Call of Duty.
