How to get Blood Cell camo in MW2 & Warzone 2
Learning how to get the Blood Cell camo in MW2 & Warzone 2 is something a lot of Call of Duty players are keen to do, but how do you get your hands on this universal weapon camouflage?
Well, the Season 5 update added the Faction Showdown limited-time event that pits Shadow Company versus Task Force 141.
You'll need to complete a set of challenges for the Shadow Company to earn the Blood Cell camo. As it's a community challenge, there's also a bit of luck involved when it comes to obtaining the Blood Cell camo.
So, without further ado, here's exactly how to get the Blood Cell camo in MW2 and Warzone 2 during the limited-time Faction Showdown event.
How to get Blood Cell camo
In order to get the Blood Cell camo in MW2 & Warzone 2, you must choose the Shadow Company as your faction and complete all of the challenges before the Faction Showdown event ends on August 16, 2023.
On top of that, Shadow Company have to win the overall event, which is determined by the number of kills each faction racks up before August 16. It is key that Shadow Company wins, as the Blood Cell camo will only be rewarded if Shadow Company come out on top in the Faction Showdown.
"The Faction with the most Operator kills at the end of the event wins. Players who have completed all challenges for the winning Faction receive additional victory rewards."
If Shadow Company wins and you've completed all of the challenges, you'll be rewarded with the Blood Cell camo in MW2 & Warzone 2 on August 16. You can track which faction is winning in the 'Events' section on the menus but currently, Shadow Company is ahead by nearly 200 million kills.

So, with Shadow Company ahead by a significant margin in the Faction Showdown event, what challenges do you need to complete to earn the Blood Cell camo in MW2 & Warzone 2?
Here's the full list below:
- Get 50 Operator kills
- Reward: Loading Screen
- Get 15 Operator kills while focused with Snipers
- Reward: Large Decal
- Get 15 Operator kills from behind with SMGs
- Reward: Vehicle Skin
- Get 10 Operator Kills with Launchers
- Reward: Charm
- Get 5 Operator Kills with Lethal Equipment
- Battle Pass Tier Skip
You can track your progress with these challenges in the 'Events' tab on either MW2 & Warzone 2. Once these are all completed and as long as Shadow Company wins the event, you'll immediately unlock the Blood Cell camo.
How to change factions
Click to enlargeRemember, if you want the Blood Cell camo in MW2 & Warzone 2, you'll need to pick Shadow Company as your faction in the 'Events' tab.
However, there's no need to panic if you choose Task Force 141 and want to switch. Simply head to 'Events' and you can switch sides with the click of a button.
