You may want an explanation of the Midnight Suns Standing Stones mystery, as it's not entirely clear what these magical stones are used for, especially when you first come across them early in the game. Midnight Suns has a lot of mysteries to solve when exploring the hub area called the Abbey, allowing you to become somewhat of a supernatural detective when you aren't fighting super villains. So if you are looking for a walkthrough of how to solve the Midnight Suns Standing Stones mystery, we've got you covered.

The Standing Stones is a location that can be found on the right side of the Abbey grounds map once you have earned the 'open' word of power. When you first encounter them, you won't be able to do anything here, as you will need to unlock several different parts of the map, and earn the 'reveal' word of power from the second Trial of the Elder Gods.

Once you have the 'reveal' word of power, come to the Standing Stones and use it in the middle. This will unlock the stones' power and display a mysterious symbol on each one. Interacting with the stones after this will cause the symbols on them to glow, and it becomes clear you need to activate them in a specific order.

There are three different sequences you will have to find that can be used on the Standing Stones. Each sequence will unlock a Legendary Arcane Chest in the middle, and once you have input all the sequences, the mystery will be complete.

Below, we will highlight the three locations where you can learn the sequences. It's also worth noting that the sequences seem to change from game to game, so they will all look different in your save. We suggest getting paper and a pen to note down the sequences for when you come back to the Standing Stones.

The first sequence for the Standing Stones can be found in the chapel, located at the bottom of the Abbey building. You will find it on the wall in this room.

The second sequence is located inside of Agatha's Cottage in the north of the map. Head inside the cottage and find the sequence on the wall on the right side.

The final sequence can only be discovered after you have completed all the Trials of the Elder Gods and have access to the 'break' word of power. Head to Lilith's Garden in the top left of the map, and use the 'break' power on the cracked door. This will let you access a ladder that leads to a room under the garden. At the end of this room, there is another cracked wall you can break, revealing the final sequence.

That's all for our explainer of the Midnight Suns Standing Stones mystery, and now you know how to solve it by finding the sequences and using them on the stones.
