Mega Garchomp is gearing up to take centre stage with its upcoming Pokemon GO debut, and there's thankfully not much longer to wait until it arrives during the Raid Day.

While Garchomp has been part of the mobile game for quite a long time, now its Mega Evolution will be available for the first time in an epic event. So, let's get into exactly when (and how) Mega Garchamp will be available in Pokemon GO.

When is Mega Garchomp coming to Pokemon GO?

As confirmed in the game's blog post, Mega Garchomp will be stepping into the Pokemon GO spotlight on Saturday, November 11 as part of its namesake Raid Day, running from 2PM to 5PM local time

What bonuses are there for Mega Garchomp Raid Day?

To make your chances of defeating and catching a Mega Garchomp all the better, the Raid Day will also offer the following Pokemon GO bonuses: 

  • The Remote Raid Pass limit will increase from five to ten from 12AM to 11:59PM local time on November 11
  • Trainers can earn up to five extra daily Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs
  • You'll have boosted odds of finding a Shiny Garchomp in Mega Raids

Event Exclusive Ticket bonuses

The Raid Day will also have on sale an event-exclusive ticket for the price of $5 (or the equivalent in your local currency).

Buying this ticket will grant you extra bonuses on November 11 from 2PM to 10PM local time, which are as follows: 

  • 1.5x XP from Raid Battles
  • 2x Stardust from Raid Battles
  • Eight extra Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, for a total of 14
  • Increased odds of getting Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles

Extra bundles

To offer you even more chances to make the most of the Mega Garchomp Raid Day, the Pokemon GO Web Store will have available a bundle including three Remote Raid Passes along with two Raid Passes

As for the in-game shop itself, there will be its own bundle available to buy, including three Remote Raid Passes and two Raid Passes as well.
