The LoL update 14.5 patch notes have arrived, and we've got the rundown for you below.

This patch features new PROJECT skins, a host of balance changes and even more to get stuck into. League of Legends patches are usually pretty hefty, and this one is no different.

So without further ado, let's take a look at everything changing in the 14.5 patch for the game. Or if you want to check out when future patches are planned to be released, take a look at the patch notes schedule.

LoL update 14.5 patch notes: The short version

The PROJECT skinline returns this patch with skins for Gangplank, Jax and Naafiri, which should excite fans of the ever-popular cyberpunk aesthetic.

In addition, Riot's anti-cheat Vanguard is being tested on the Philippines server to evaluate its performance on live games. It's not active in other regions yet, but it'll be coming to all regions in the next few weeks.

As for balance changes, Champions like Seraphine, Rek'Sai and Smolder are receiving big changes, while plenty of overperforming characters are being nerfed.
