How to find & use Aloha Links in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth has a lot of new features added to make Kasuga's journey in Hawaii much more interesting. One of these is the Aloha Links which helps in making friends all over Hawaii, from humans to animals. When exploring the game, you'll stumble across a variety of characters you can befriend and, later on, become buddies as well.
In this guide, we'll explain how to make friends and buddies with Aloha Links in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
How to unlock Aloha Links
Aloha Links can be unlocked during Chapter 3 of the game when Kasuga meets Kei, an employee of the Revolve Bar. She will explain how the Aloha Links app works and how to make friends with it.
Afterwards, the app will be installed on your smartphone. Kei along with the Bartender of the Reolvive will become your friends on the Aloha Links app as well.
How to find and use Aloha Links
To make friends on the Aloha Links app, you simply have to greet individuals within Hawaii. This can be done by pressing the greet/emote button (Square on the PlayStation). Kasuga will sometimes do his normal greeting or say 'Aloha!' to any of the passersby.
Click to enlargeNot all of the individuals of Hawaii will be your friends, though. To identify potential Aloha Links, you will notice a greyed-out smiley face on top of them. Greeting them will turn it green. Then, you will be notified that that person has become your friend.
Greeting your friends around five times will turn them into your buddies. Turning someone into a buddy will turn their smiley face into pink. You can have up to 200 friends and buddies via Aloha Links.
Click to enlargeSome Aloha Links also require your help; for example, some of them may be harassed by thugs and criminals, or others will have special requests, such as getting an item. You will also have to feed animals like dogs or cats to get Aloha Links. Doing these successfully will give you Aloha Links as well as rewards from them.
Successfully getting a certain amount of Aloha Links, like 25 or 50, will make Kei reward you with certain items. These are really useful early on in the game. Aloha Links are immensely useful in improving and boosting personality stats and helping to complete personality challenges. This is a great way to level up Kasuga's personality overall.
