How to get soil in LEGO Fortnite

To get soil in LEGO Fortnite, you’re going to need to craft a Shovel so you can dig it up from the ground. To do this, you’ll need to build a Lumber Mill to get your hands on some Planks and Wooden Rods.

Once you’ve got them, craft your shovel and start digging. Once you do, you’ll have soil in abundance, as you'll see above, so it’s time to learn what to do with it.

What does soil do in LEGO Fortnite?

Soil is a great way of starting your little farm in LEGO Fortnite, and lets you create Garden Plots where you can plant seeds. Garden Plots are made by merging soil with fertiliser.

Once you’ve planted your seeds, they’ll eventually grow into crops that you can use for cooking and restoring hearts and hunger. Several unique recipes require these crops, so having plenty of soil is just the beginning to making a sustainable LEGO life.
