Fortnite Titled Towers holds a special place in the hearts of almost every Fortnite player who was around back when it was a cornerstone of the Athena map. A bustling city overflowing with loot and high-octane action, Tilted Towers was the place to be in the early days of Fortnite. However, to the dismay of many in the community, Tilted Towers was destroyed in a volcanic eruption that capped off Fortnite Chapter 1 - Season 8. But now, four years after its inception, Fortnite Tilted Towers is back.

The new Tilted Towers is located smack dab in the center of the island in the area previously known as Frosty Fields. Just look out for the cluster of apartment buildings, restaurants, skyscrapers, and the famous clock tower — you can't miss it.

Fortnite Tilted Towers return

The iconic and infamous Tilted Towers is back in Fortnite. This legendary point of interest (POI) has been through a lot over the years, ultimately getting destroyed in The Unvaulting Event back on May 4, 2019.

Following its destruction, Tilted Towers was rebuilt into Neo Tilted. From there, more Tilted Towers successors arose - such as Tilted Town, Gotham City, and Salty Towers. Still, nothing could compare to the OG Tilted Towers.

Tilted Towers and its spin-offs have been dormant for over a year. However, with the introduction of Fortnite Chapter 3, a new map gave hope to Tilted Towers fanatics that their cherished POI might make a comeback. Near the middle of the island, underneath the snow, lies what appeared to be high-rise buildings shrouded in ice.

For weeks the community wondered, "could these snow-covered buildings actually be Tilted Towers?" Well, it's now confirmed. On January 18, 2022, the four-year anniversary of the original Tilted Towers, the v19.10 update resurrected the fan-favourite drop spot.

This new Chapter 3 version of Tilted Towers is nearly identical to the OG version released back in Chapter 1 - Season 2. The layout is almost the exact same with all of the original structures and buildings intact. The only major difference between this version and the original is that the No Sweat Insurance building remains in place of the 3-story building that existed in the OG Tilted Towers.

While the layout is about the same, you'll notice some differences in the aesthetics. For example, a building in the north-west corner of Tilted Towers that was once home to a basketball court now hosts a football pitch.

Also, some of the buildings have undergone some exterior and interior redecorating. Finally, The surrounding terrain is a bit different and there's some leftover snow on the ground from the holiday season.

It's not an exact replica, but this newly revived Tilted Tower is essentially the same Tilted Towers we all came to know and love.
