Epic Games recently dropped Fortnite's 24.30 update, bringing another round of Star Wars crossovers to the game. The most exciting part is that the update includes a mini battle pass through which players can obtain numerous Star Wars-themed outfits by completing a bunch of quests.
One particular challenge that some players need help to complete is launching Kinetic Ore using a Star Wars weapon. Although the quest is self-explanatory, some players may need help finding Kinetic Ore in the game. We've got you covered in our rundown below.
Where to find and how to launch Kinetic Ore
Shattered Slabs is the only location where you can find Kinetic Ores in Chapter 4, Season 2. But before heading to the site, make sure you have a Star Wars weapon in hand. You can either obtain Blaster Rifles from Republic Chests or learn a Force ability at one of the Rift Gates.
After getting a Star Wars weapon, it’s time to head to Shattered Slabs, where you’ll find a powerful and durable purple rock known as Kinetic Ore. The final step is to shoot and launch two Kinetic Ores with a Star Wars weapon to complete the challenge.
After that, you’ll be rewarded with 200 GR points that you can use to unlock items from Star Wars mini battle pass. It's important to note that Shattered Slabs is a popular destination, meaning you’ll encounter a bunch of players at this location.
On top of that, many Fortnite players will flock to Shattered Slabs to complete the Kinetic Ore challenge. Therefore, I recommend gearing up with essential loot items such as medics, ammo, and shields to avoid eliminations.
