Kinetic Ore appears as large slabs of dark blue-coloured stone filled with powerful energy. If you fire shots at Kinetic Ore or hit it with your Harvesting Tool, it'll begin to glow purple and pink before launching violently in the opposite direction of the initial impact.

You can hop on an active piece of Fortnite Kinetic Ore and take a joyride, or calculate the trajectory and use it to eliminate an opponent in style.

One of Fortnite Chapter 4's Oathbound Quests tasks players to hit Kinetic Ore with your Harvesting Tool to collect dropped Kinetic Chunks.

To get Kinetic Chunks, find some Kinetic Ore and smash it with your Pickaxe. The more you hit Kinetic Ore, the more Kinetic Chunks will spill out. Grab three Kinetic Chunks to complete the Challenge.

Finishing the Oathbound Quests is a great way to get a headstart on the Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass.

What role Kinetic Ore serves in Fortnite Chapter 4 remains a mystery, but when you encounter it, give it a smack to see what it's capable of.

You can send your enemies, teammates, and yourself flying with the Fortnite Chapter 4 Shockwave Hammer.
