Chickens like the warm weather, therefore, you will find large numbers of these fowl in the Desert Biome. However, you can also find them outside Lustrous Lagoon, Greasy Grove, and Tainted Towers. It's not unheard of to run into a Fortnite Chicken in the Snow Biome, but it's rare.

To deal damage with a chicken peck in Fortnite, you will, of course, need a Chicken. Visit a location that Chickens tend to populate and chase one down and pick it up with two hands to capture it.

With a Chicken in hand, the bird will automatically peck at any enemies in its vicinity. To make a Chicken peck, get right up in an opponent's face. The Chicken will automatically begin nipping at the foe and dealing minor damage.

Naturally, your first thought is probably to hunt down opposing players. Well, that might be the worst way to approach this Quest. Unless the enemy player is clueless, they are going to back up and eliminate you before they let you get close enough to peck them with a Chicken.

Instead, you want to target NPCs and Wildlife. After all, the Challenge doesn't specify who or what you need to damage with a chicken peck!

The Island is littered with dozens of NPCs that you can use as guinea pigs for this Quest. Once you have tamed a Chicken, visit any of the Fortnite NPC locations in Chapter 3 Season 4. Now, anger the NPC by firing a shot at it or smacking it with your Pickaxe. Once the NPC is hostile, pick your Chicken back up, get close, and let the creature peck away!

Alternatively, if you encounter any Wolves or Boars on your travels, you can let your Chicken strike at these animals and receive credit toward the Quest.

Avian Ambush Week, and in turn, this Quest, is active now and runs until November 29, 2022, at 2pm GMT. Don't miss this chance to earn XP and Level Up Tokens!

The Fortnite Fracture Event is right around the corner!
