The Fortnite Fracture Event is the culmination of Fortnite Chapter 3. Once again, The Zero Point and the Fortnite reality are in danger, and it's up to us, the Loopers, to save it. So, if you want to be there when everything goes down, here's what you need to know about the Fortnite Fracture Event.

Fortnite Fracture is the Chapter 3 Finale Event. After only four seasons, Fortnite is transitioning from Chapter 3 to Chapter 4. The Fortnite Fracture Event will tie up all the loose ends in the ongoing story as we enter a new era of Fortnite.

Fortnite Fracture Event: Date, Times, And How To Watch

The Fortnite Fracture Event is set to occur on December 3, 2022, at 9pm GMT/4pm ET. At 8:30pm GMT, all traditional modes will be temporarily disabled. At the same time, the official Fracture Event playlist will open up and go live for players.

As with all Fortnite Live Events, Fortnite Fracture is a one-time affair. Be there in person at the scheduled time, or you will be forced to catch up later via YouTube or Twitch VODs.

Epic Games recommends that players interested in attending the Chapter 3 Finale Event be ready in-game at least an hour prior to the start time. The Fortnite servers fill up fast during these spectacles, so if you log in too late, you might miss your chance.

Players that partake in the Fortnite Fracture Event will receive the Zero Fragment Back Bling as a free gift.

Following the events of the Fortnite Collision Live Event and the celebratory season that followed, things went awry again to kick off Chapter 3 Season 4.

Chapter 3 Season 4 began with a strange Chrome substance devouring The Origin, The Scientist, and The Visitor. The only member of The Seven left standing, The Paradigm, proceeds to dive headfirst into The Zero Point to escape. The Paradigm has remained in Reality-659 ever since.

With The Seven vanquished from the Island, the Chrome, controlled by The Herald, reigns supreme. The Herald works alongside The Nothing, a faceless entity we met in the Fortnite Bytes Quests. Together, these two soldiers of The Last Reality plan to destroy our reality entirely.

So, all things considered, it seems plausible that the events of Fortnite Fracture will revolve around The Paradigm's long-awaited return. While what will go down remains a mystery, we can expect Paradigm, and whoever she brings back with her, will face off with The Herald and The Nothing in an attempt to save our reality.

Fortnite Fracture Event: When Does Fortnite Chapter 4 Start?

With the conclusion to Chapter 3 set to unfold on December 3, 2022, expect Fortnite Chapter 4 to begin sometime on December 4 or December 5. These Finale Events tend to come with downtime. For context, the transition from Chapter 1 to Chapter 2 took over 36 hours, while the transition from Chapter 2 to Chapter 3 took 13 hours.

Fortnite Fracture Event: What To Expect In Fortnite Chapter 4

Thanks to Fortnite's dedicated leakers, we already have an idea of what to expect in Fortnite Chapter 4. Specifically, there are five major leaks to be aware of:

  • Creative 2.0: Creative 2.0 is scheduled for late January 2023
  • Apparel: a new type of in-game cosmetic called Apparel
  • Rideable flying animals: take to the skies with Wildlife that you can fly
  • First-Person Mode: Chapter 4 will introduce the highly anticipated First-Person Mode
  • Motorcycles: a new type of Vehicle

Furthermore, expect a brand-new Island as the setting of Fortnite Chapter 4.

The Chrome is spreading at a breakneck pace. Meet with The Paradigm on December 3, 2022, at 9pm GMT/4pm ET to put an end to The Herald and The Nothing and save Fortnite.
