The Prism is a mysterious Fortnite object that the Trace NPC is particularly fond of; once you recieve it, you will receive a hidden quest to deliver it to Trace.

Thankfully, this primer details exactly where to find Prsim and how to bring it to Trace at The Apparatus in the game.

How do you bring the Prism to Trace at The Apparatus?

Thankfully, you can easily bring the Prism to Trace by going to the top of the temple in The Apparatus - with the Fortnite NPC patrolling the area.

Speak with Trace and hand over the Prism to complete the Explorer Quest and earn 20,000 Season XP toward the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass.

Trace will inform you that the Prism is made of Fortnite Kinetic Ore and thinks it's part of the apparatus. Trace also asks that if you find any more Prisms, to send them his way.

It's worth mentioning that if you die before bringing the Prism to Trace, you will lose the Prism and must go back to The Apparatus and collect it again to continue this Explorer Quest.

Where can you find the Prism in Fortnite?

If you've heard of this quest elsewhere and still need to find the Prism, it's situated on a pedestal at the west end of The Apparatus Landmark, just inside an open doorway and in front of a buried Fortnite Jungle Vault.

The Apparatus Landmark isn't labeled on the in-game map, but you can find it directly east of Rumble Ruins.

Once you're there, you just need to approach and interact with the Prism for it to be added it to your inventory.

Grabbing the Prism automatically starts the unlisted Urgent Quest, also known as an Explorer Quest to deliver the Prism to Trace as mentioned above.
