How to get a Business Turret in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

Business Turret has been unvaulted once again in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 following the rollout of the v28.10 update. It is a titanium suitcase that, when thrown, automatically fires at opponents. You can also find them mounted near the vault locations, assisting the nearby guards.

Business Turrets are particularly useful in solo or duo matches as they distract your enemies while you’re healing. So without any further delay, here’s how you can find and obtain the Business Turret in the game.

In Fortnite, the Business Turret can easily be found as floor loot or in containers such as chests or supply drops. Unfortunately, there’s no NPC on the island who sells this item in exchange for gold. As a result, you will randomly encounter this item while roaming around different locations. 

The best places to find the Business Turret are Pleasant Plaza or Fencing Field, as these POIs are filled with chests and rare loot. However, be cautious, as these two locations are among the hot drop spots in the game.

How the Business Turret Works

Once you have a Business Turret in your inventory, you can throw it on the ground to deploy a minigun. As mentioned earlier, the turret will automatically fire at opponents within its range. After locking onto an enemy, it will continuously shoot infinite bullets, each dealing 7 damage.

Here are the base stats of the Business Turret:

• Damage: 7
• Fire Rate: 8.5
• Shots per Burst: 1
• Magazine Size: Inf
• Cooldown: 0

It's important to note that the Business Turret has a range of 60 meters. If you move farther away after deploying it, the turret will self-destruct after seven seconds. Additionally, you cannot place two turrets at the same time or carry more than two turrets in each inventory slot.
