The Anvil Rocket Launcher in Fortnite is a brand-new weapon capable of mass destruction. Functioning like a self-guided fire-and-forget missile launcher, this new item fills a much-needed niche in the weapon pool.

With Tanks and the armored Battle Bus as prevalent as ever, the Anvil Rocket Launcher is the perfect counter to use in the game.

Where can you find the Anvil Rocket Launcher?

In Fortnite, the Anvil Rocket Launcher is lootable from chests - Standard Chests, Rare Chests, Seven Supply Chests, IO Supply Chests, Supply Drops, and Loot Sharks.

Command Cavern and the Imagined Order Blimps are great spots to search for the Anvil Rocket Launcher, as IO Supply Chests are commonplace at these locations.

How to use the Anvil Rocket Launcher

Once locked onto your target, fire the launcher. A massive missile will launch directly into the sky before ultimately soaring downward onto the target, dealing tremendous damage.

Despite being designed for use against vehicles, the Anvil Rocket Launcher is serviceable vs. enemy ground troops. While you can't lock onto opposing players, you can still aim the Anvil Rocket Launcher in their general direction and fire away.

After a couple of seconds of airtime, a missile will descend down wherever your crosshairs were when you initially fired it.

The weapon can be used defensively as an anti-tank measure or offensively as a way to pressure camping opponents. Regardless of your strategy, feel free to use these tips and trips to locate an Anvil Rocket Launcher and operate it effectively.
